The Hearing Loss Association of America of Greater Baltimore (HLAA-GBC).

 

The chapter meets serveral times a year. Hearing loss meetings open to the public, as well as a summer picnic and winter holiday party.

 

Hearing loss meetings are held throughout the year, except for December, July, and August.

Calling All Young Adults (18 – 35) for a Crime and Pun-ishment: A 1920’s Murder Mystery Experience!

The Scene: Things take a turn for the gutter at Mafia Don Lou Zar’s juice joint when someone is put on ice! The crowd is chock-full of potential suspects. Jealous, jilted lovers, a rival Mafioso, and a pair of undercover feds make an appearance at this speakeasy and not a single person is muttering a word! Help find out who’s on the level and who’s on the lam by trading clues with your guests, gathering information, and solving the crime before the murderer hotfoots it out of there!

When: Thursday, June 23, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Where: Buca di Beppo Restaurant located a short walk from the Washington Hilton at 1825 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC.

Who: All young adults REGISTERED for Convention 2016/IFHOH Congress

Wednesday Open Mic Night

The Association of Adult Musicians with Hearing Loss (AAMHL) is hosting an open mic event during the HLAA Convention 2016 on June 22 from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. All convention attendees who play a musical instrument or sing are encouraged to perform. If you are interested in performing, please go to http://bit.ly/hlaa_open_mic for more details and to submit an entry. The deadline to submit an entry is April 15, 2016.
